Since its inception on August 10, 2023, the Court Annexed Mediation Center of the High Court of Sindh has flourished, achieving remarkable success in its operations during the reporting period leading up to October 30, 2026 . This esteemed center has played a pivotal role in championing alternative dispute resolution, fostering an environment where conflicts can be resolved amicably. In a commendable expansion of its services, the Family Court Annexed Mediation Center in Karachi East was established on May 22, 2025, further enhancing accessibility to mediation services for the community. During this period, the centers received a total of 393 , of which an impressive 148 were successfully resolved through mediation, showcasing a highly effective approach to dispute resolution. Conversely, 68 cases were deemed unsuccessful , and 171 cases were returned at the initial stage, reflecting a proactive engagement with the parties involved. This notable success not only alleviates the burden on the judicial system but also cultivates a culture of cooperation and understanding among disputing parties. The center's unwavering commitment to facilitating amicable resolutions underscores the significance of mediation as a viable alternative to traditional litigation, thereby paving the way for continued enhancements in its future operations.
