Court-Annexed Mediation Center (CAMC) has been established with the primary aim of facilitating parties and promoting expeditious resolution of dispute through mediation and negotiation.
As and when a dispute is referred to and received by the CAMC, it is allocated a time-slot in the roster of cases pending before the CAMC. The parties are then intimated the day and time for the mediation session(s). Mediation is conducted by a judicial officer who is also a certified mediator and who brings both professionalism and impartiality to the process.
The mediation process at CAMC is a structured journey towards dispute resolution. It typically involves separate meetings with each party to understand their perspectives and concerns, followed by joint meetings to foster communication and explore mutually beneficial solutions. The process ensures rights to privacy and confidentiality in disputes and provides a comfortable environment to resolve conflicts.
